Pastor Tyron Carter's uncommon passion for his faith in God is best described in Isaiah 1:17, “Learn to do well”. A proud product of the greater Bay Area, Tyron R. Carter Jr. hails from Richmond, California and currently resides in Nashville, TN. Pastor Ty has served under the profound leadership of Bishop Joseph W. Walker III at the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Baptist Church. Ordained as a young adult pastor, his foundation for the life and the ministry was born under the guidance of Bishop Paul S. Morton and Dr. Debra B. Morton at Changing A Generation Full Gospel Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. Pastor Ty served as the First Assistant and the Overseer of young adults at Mt. Zion.
Pastor Ty is dedicated to God’s ministry and recognizes that his educational pursuit reflects his walk and journey in life. He received his Bachelor's degree in Sociology and has received his Masters of Divinity at Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. The renowned Pastor Ty has been a guest on the Word Network, and various network channels. He is a proud member of the NAACP and has traveled across the nation ministering and encouraging all. His heart for serving God’s people remains the same as he focuses on service. Most of all, Pastor Ty is an anointed man of God, who has been chosen, called, and commissioned to advance the Kingdom of God! Pastor Ty’s ministry is best accurately described in the late Dr. Martin Luther King’s quote: “If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
